Job summary

Deploja-Ab is seeking a consultant with strong Java backend and microservices experience to design, build and operate production-grade systems. You will work with Keycloak deployments, implement OAuth/OIDC and JWT/SAML, and contribute to distributed architectures with PostgreSQL and caching strategies.

The role requires Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and at least one cloud platform (AWS/Azure). A security-first mindset is required to support audits and compliance across client projects.

Qualifications

• Strong Java backend development experience with microservices in production.
• Hands-on Keycloak deployments, with SPI/Provider customization.
• Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT and SAML.
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems and microservices.
• Solid PostgreSQL skills and caching familiarity (Infinispan/Redis).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and at least one major cloud (AWS/Azure).
• Security-minded; and able to support audits and compliance requirements.

We now have a new requirement and are looking for a consultant colleague with the qualifications listed below. The position is part of our consulting business, which means you will be employed by us and work either with clients or on internal projects and assignments.

Your Profile (Must-have requirements)

• Strong Java backend development experience, including building and operating microservices in production.
• Proven, hands-on experience with Keycloak in real-world deployments, including customization through SPIs and providers.
• Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and SAML.
• Proven experience designing and operating distributed systems and microservices in production.
• Solid database skills, for example PostgreSQL, and familiarity with caching relevant to Keycloak deployments, such as Infinispan or Redis.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, as well as at least one major cloud platform, AWS or Azure.
• A security-first mindset and experience supporting audits and compliance requirements.

Meritorious

• Experience with CIAM at scale, such as customer identity, identity resolution, or account deduplication.
• Experience with WebAuthn/FIDO2/passkeys, Zero Trust architectures, or PKI.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, such as Kafka.
• Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
