Job summary

Apar Consultancy Services AB is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our Robotics team in Huskvarna. You will design, develop, and scale cloud-based backend services powering our robotic solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams in a modern cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java (11+).
• Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway).
• Experience building distributed systems and microservices.
• Familiar with CI/CD and container tech (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Infra as code knowledge (Terraform or CloudFormation) a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving; capable both independently and in teams.
• Fluent in English; Swedish a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (Java 11+).
• Build and manage distributed systems and microservices for robotic applications.
• Collaborate with DevOps to deploy on AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway).
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and container-enabled deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Support infrastructure as code practices (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Engage in code reviews, testing, and performance tuning for quality.
• Work in an agile, cross-functional team throughout the development lifecycle.
