Job summary

Husqvarna Robotics in Huskvarna is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build and operate scalable cloud services powering next-generation robotic solutions.

You will collaborate with product owners, embedded software teams, platform engineers, architects, and AI/Data teams to deliver reliable solutions at scale, using Kotlin/Java, AWS, and containerized microservices.

This role offers ownership, modern DevSecOps practices and an opportunity to influence architecture across global teams.

Qualifications

• Several years of backend software development experience.
• A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong Kotlin and/or Java proficiency.
• Experience building distributed systems and microservices.
• Experience with AWS and modern cloud-based development.
• Experience with CI/CD, containers and infrastructure as code.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Developing backend services primarily in Kotlin and Java.
• Building and operating cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Developing distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Contributing to CI/CD, observability and production operations.
• Driving technical improvements, architecture discussions and engineering best practices.
