Job summary

RELEX Solutions is seeking a Senior IT Security Engineer to join our IT Security Operations team in Finland. You will design and implement Zero Trust policies, automate incident response, and strengthen our security posture across endpoints and identities.

You’ll work with Defender XDR, Sentinel, Intune, Entra ID, Purview, and Jamf, applying your scripting and detection skills to build scalable security controls and playbooks for a fast-growing global company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with the Microsoft security stack (Defender XDR, Sentinel, Intune, Entra ID, Purview)
• PowerShell and Graph API scripting for identity governance, compliance reporting, and security automation
• Working knowledge of KQL (Kusto Query Language) for detection engineering and Secure Score reporting

Responsibilities

• You will work with the Microsoft security stack to keep RELEX's endpoints and identities secure
• You will design and enforce Conditional Access and Zero Trust policies at enterprise scale
• You will turn security incidents into documented playbooks with automation paths

In response to our fast growth and market expansion, we are looking for a Senior IT Security Engineer to become the technical backbone of our IT Security Operations team and turn day-to-day security response into lasting, automated defence.

• You will work with the Microsoft security stack: Defender XDR, Sentinel, Intune, Entra ID, and Purview, plus Jamf, to keep RELEX's endpoints and identities secure
• You will design and enforce Conditional Access and Zero Trust policies at enterprise scale
• You will turn every resolved security incident into a documented, classified playbook with a clear path toward automation, building a security posture based on prevention rather than firefighting

• Hands-on experience with the Microsoft security stack (Defender XDR, Sentinel, Intune, Entra ID, Purview)
• Practical PowerShell and Graph API scripting for identity governance, compliance reporting, and security automation, not just GUI-driven workflows
• Working knowledge of KQL (Kusto Query Language) for detection engineering and Secure Score reporting
• Comfortable being the technical depth in a small, high-ownership team: you build things that keep working without supervision
• Comfortable with using AI in your everyday work and developing the use of AI tools as a larger organizational strategy
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• As a bonus, we consider experience working with an international team, plus great communication and organizational skills

What We Consider An Advantage

• Experience managing security configuration as code, with Conditional Access, Intune and Entra policy under version control and peer-reviewed change management, is a strong advantage
• Endpoint privilege management experience (BeyondTrust EPM or an equivalent platform)
• Working knowledge of SOC 2 and ISO 27001 control mapping
