Job summary

A leading Nordic bank is seeking a proactive Senior IT Security Engineer to enhance cybersecurity initiatives. Responsibilities include implementing cloud security solutions, managing risks, and collaborating with the IT Security team. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of security experience, DevSecOps knowledge, and a degree in Cyber/Information security. The position is based in Sweden and requires fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ platform security specialist working experience.
• 1-2 years working experience of DevSecOps.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal (knowledge of Swedish is a plus).
• Holder of CCSP, CISSP, CRISC or equivalent certifications.

Overview

Now, we are looking for a Senior IT Security Engineer to join us on this journey!

Get an idea of the role

We’re looking for a proactive Senior IT Security Engineer with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and several years of experience in network security and application security in the cloud. In this role, you will report to the CISO but work closely with our Senior IT Security Officer and our Enterprise architects.

Responsibilities

• Implement security solutions in the cloud and assist in the design of security solutions
• Mitigate security risk according to plan and assist in the implementation of the cybersecurity architecture
• Employ secure configuration management processes
• Assist in threat modelling across the entire system architecture and implement security solutions in the cloud
• Assist in implementation regarding Network and IAM
• Realize security architectures and designs, and perform security reviews and identify gaps
• Assist in the development of the cybersecurity architecture and employ secure configuration

We are looking for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, who has excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You have an attention to details and a commitment to maintaining high security standards. You also..

• Have 1-2 years working experience of DevSecOps
• Have a University Degree in Cyber/Information security
• Are fluent in English, both written and verbal (knowledge of Swedish is a plus)
• Holds Swedish citizenship
