Job summary

WeQuel is seeking a Senior IT Buyer / Procurement & Vendor Manager for a Stockholm consulting assignment. You will lead IT sourcing, manage supplier relationships, and drive procurement transformation within a global client environment.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions in an international setting, shape sourcing strategies, and spearhead procurement initiatives, contributing to process optimization and technology adoption.

Qualifications

• Strong IT sourcing and procurement background.
• At least 5 years of procurement experience.
• University degree in Engineering or IT with business mindset, or Economics/Law with technical background.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for internal/external networking.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset.
• Proactive, result-oriented with ability to prioritize work.
• Experience in global matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for IT categories and manage supplier relationships.
• Develop sourcing strategies and category plans; support procurement transformations.
• Coordinate RFx processes, negotiations, and supplier performance management.
• Drive business development initiatives related to sourcing and procurement.
• Represent sourcing projects in internal forums and with external stakeholders.
• Analyze spend data and report savings from sourcing activities.
