Job summary

Swedbank's Group Internal Audit (GIA) is seeking a seasoned professional to lead audits related to Lending and Trading & Capital Markets across Swedish Business Areas. You will evaluate regulatory compliance, identify risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication of findings.

The role involves cross-functional work with GIA teams, participation in international audits, input to risk assessments, and driving sustainable improvements to support Swedbank's strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar financial audit role.
• In-depth understanding of Lending and/or Trading & Capital Markets and relevant external regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex info clearly.
• Strong interpersonal, curious, and adaptable with integrity and strategic mindset.
• Experience with project management and meeting tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Swedish; knowledge of AI/data analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Lending and Trading & Capital Markets processes for regulatory compliance and internal policies.
• Identify risks and provide actionable recommendations; communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with GIA teams across departments; cover Swedbank’s Swedish business areas and international branches.
• Contribute to risk assessments, planning, and quarterly reporting; support strategic bank objectives.
