Job summary

Neoen in Sweden seeks a Senior Business Development Manager with a Grid Expert focus to lead grid connection activities for wind, solar, storage, and data center projects. You will drive feasibility, secure grid capacity, and support construction energisation in collaboration with development, engineering and asset teams.

Reporting to the Managing Director of Sweden, you will define robust connection solutions, manage studies and permits, and lead negotiations on grid offers to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Experience leading grid connection projects for wind, solar, storage or data center developments.
• Strong understanding of grid codes, capacity planning and connection studies.
• Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and external consultants.

Responsibilities

• Assess grid capacity and connection options for site feasibility.
• Lead grid connection applications and manage milestones with operators.
• Develop and optimise grid connection strategies and points of interconnection.
• Oversee electrical studies (load flow, short-circuit, power quality) with specialists as needed.
• Act as main grid interface with operators, consultants and internal teams.
• Coordinate grid code compliance and support permits and land rights.
• Lead negotiations on grid connection offers including costs and schedules.
• Lead pre-construction work for substations, cables, and EPC contracts.
• Translate data center power needs into grid connection requirements.
• Maintain budgets, schedules and risk registers for grid tasks.
