Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend software development experience with system architecture/technical design responsibilities.
• Strong Go production-grade backend experience; Rust is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services with focus on performance, reliability, and security.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs deemed executable by developers and AI agents.
• Review PRs from humans and AI agents to ensure correctness and alignment with architecture.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and stakeholders to deliver critical features.
• Promote test-driven development and comprehensive automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, develop, and optimize database schemas across relational, key-value, and time-series stores.
• Apply secure coding practices and ensure compliance and security standards.
• Monitor latency, throughput, and resource usage for high-load workloads.
• Mentor developers and share best engineering practices.
