Job summary

Truecaller in Sweden is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our global legal team, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and strengthening data privacy and security across our products.

You will partner with business, product, and engineering teams to balance legal risk with business goals, advise on data use and privacy-by-design, and support strategic initiatives such as partnerships and market expansion in a fast-moving tech environment.

Qualifications

• Strong academic credentials and a law degree.
• Minimum 5+ years of legal experience, ideally with tech/telecom commercial contracts.
• Knowledge of commercial law, IT/tech/telecom matters.
• Solution-oriented and proactive approach with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent English communication.
• Desire to work in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a legal advisor to business, product and engineering teams, balancing legal risk with business objectives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, licensing, partnership, and data protection contracts.
• Advise on product and technology matters including data use, AI/ML, user-generated content, platform terms, and privacy-by-design requirements.
• Support corporate and strategic initiatives such as partnerships and market expansion, while improving legal operations and internal processes.
