Job summary

Stillfront is seeking a senior data privacy counsel based in Stockholm to own the global privacy program. You will work with our external DPO, shape governance, and lead interactions with studios and partners worldwide.

The role requires Sweden-based legal expertise and comfort operating across cultures and time zones. Reporting to the Group General Counsel, you will drive policy, risk assessments, and incident response while guiding commercial negotiations and managing external counsel when

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years PQE from a Swedish law firm and/or in-house legal team with real ownership of data privacy matters.
• Track record of developing or scaling a privacy function, not just keeping one ticking over.
• Solid working knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles, plus real commercial contract experience.

Responsibilities

• Own GDPR and data protection work end-to-end, including policies, DPIAs, RoPA, data processing agreements, cross-border transfers and incident response across studios on three continents.
• Advise on and negotiate commercial and studio agreements, from first draft through to signature.
• Instruct and manage outside counsel on disputes and complex matters and hold them to the expected standard.
