Job summary

emagine is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer with Tech Lead experience to develop and deploy applications used by retailers and service advisors globally. You will collaborate with a remote-friendly team, mentor juniors, and contribute across back-end (Java/Kotlin), front-end (React), AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and microservices in a cloud-based Kubernetes environment with GitLab CI pipelines.

This is a one-year contract with potential extension, requiring 2–3 days per week in the Stockholm

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Fullstack development with Java and Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture.
• Experience in microservices and cloud-based deployments.
• Proficient in modern front-end technologies (React).

As part of the team, the successful candidate will:

• Exercise sound judgment on deployment decisions while articulating potential risks
• Focus on building systems that enable rapid and confident team movement
• Contribute to back-end, front-end, and AWS development as needed
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning
• Participate in refining software stacks and innovate with modern technology
• Maintain and develop micro frontends and microservices

Key Requirements:

Other Details:
