Job summary

RPS Softwares AB in Sweden is seeking a React / Kotlin / AWS Developer & Tech Lead to blend hands-on development with technical leadership, shaping architecture, practices, and scalable solutions for our modern software stack.

You will work across cloud-based microservices and micro frontends using AWS, Kubernetes, GitLab CI pipelines, and Kafka, while mentoring engineers and driving delivery with trunk-based development and continuous deployment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years of backend development experience, Kotlin microservices.
• Strong frontend experience with React-based micro frontends.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments and Kubernetes deployments.
• Familiar with event-driven architecture, trunk-based development, and CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain Kotlin microservices and React micro frontends.
• Lead technical direction and mentor engineers across teams.

We are hiring React / Kotlin / AWS Developer & Tech Leadfor Sweden.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a React / Kotlin / AWS Developer & Tech Lead will combine hands-on development with technical leadership and contribute to both the continued development and maintenance of the application. You will work with modern technologies while also improving the existing software stack to ensure that architecture, development practices, and technical solutions remain scalable and up to date.

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Architecture & Deployment: Develop, manage, and deploy cloud-based microservices and micro frontends using AWS, Kubernetes, GitLab CI pipelines, and Kafka for robust inter-service communication.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Drive technical direction and collaborate globally to deliver high-performing software while mentoring, supporting, and guiding engineers through complex technical challenges.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+years of strong experience in backend development, specifically building and maintaining Kotlin microservices.
• Highly relevant experience in frontend development , particularly architecting React-based micro frontends.
• Proven experience working with AWS cloud environments and Kubernetes deployments.
• Comfortable utilizing modern development practices such as event-driven architecture, trunk-based development, and continuous deployment.
• Deep understanding and strong interest in continuous delivery, automation, and building reliable development processes.
