Job summary

Sambla Group in Malmö is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer focused on the MyMoney area. You’ll join a skilled team, bridging product and business with strong backend ownership and cloud infrastructure.

You will design and build scalable APIs, work across the stack when needed, and help shape architecture while collaborating with frontend and product teams to deliver end-to-end value.

Qualifications

• Several years of backend or fullstack experience with a backend focus.
• Experience designing APIs and scalable systems.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, architecture and clean code.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with databases, testing and CI/CD.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn, including AI in software development and product innovation.

In the summer of 2026, we were granted authorisation as a credit market company, marking an important milestone in our continued journey to expand into own lending and opening an exciting new chapter for Sambla Group.

We are now looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join Sambla Group, with a primary focus on the MyMoney part of the business. The role is based in Malmö, where you will be part of a skilled and collaborative development team working close to both product and business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the stack, but feels most at home in the backend: designing scalable services, building reliable APIs, working with cloud infrastructure and turning product ideas into robust technical solutions.

What you will do

In this role, you will help build and improve the technology that powers our products, partnerships and customer experiences. You will have the opportunity to take ownership from idea to production, contribute to architectural decisions and help shape how we build for scale.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing and maintaining backend services and APIs.

• Working with cloud infrastructure and services in AWS.

• Building scalable, reliable and secure solutions that support our products and business.

• Collaborating with frontend developers, designers, product and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end value.

• Contributing to technical patterns, ways of working and engineering best practices.

• Supporting integrations with partners and internal systems.

• Working across the stack when needed, while bringing strong backend expertise to the team.

Our current stack includes:

• Backend: Kotlin, Spring Boot

• Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, React and Vue

You do not need to be an expert in every part of our stack from day one. What matters most is that you bring strong backend engineering experience, a solid understanding of modern software development and a genuine interest in learning and contributing.

What we are looking for

We believe you are a senior developer who enjoys solving complex problems, taking responsibility and sharing knowledge with others. You are comfortable working close to the product and want to understand not only what we build, but why we build it.

We would like you to have:

• Several years of experience as a backend or fullstack developer, with a strong backend focus.

• Experience designing and building APIs, services and scalable systems.

• Good understanding of software engineering principles, architecture and clean code.

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

• Experience working with databases, testing and CI/CD.

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

• Curiosity, ownership and a willingness to keep learning, including an interest in how AI can create value in software development and product innovation.

It is a plus if you have experience with:

• Kotlin and Spring Boot.

• AWS infrastructure and cloud-native development.

• Financial services, fintech or other regulated environments.

• Frontend technologies such as React, Vue, JavaScript or TypeScript.
