Job summary

VX Fiber is seeking Senior Full Stack Developers (on-site, Umeå) to build our SaaS platform for fibre network operations. This is not a role for someone who wants to sit at the end of a requirements pipeline and turn tickets into code.

We are looking for developers who want to understand the problem, shape the solution, and use both traditional engineering and agentic coding tools to take ideas all the way into production.

Qualifications

• Senior-level software developer with production experience
• Experience shipping and operating SaaS products
• Broad systems design skills and data design judgment
• Practical experience with testing and failure modes, plus observability in production
• Hands-on experience with modern agentic development, including harnesses and context orchestration

Responsibilities

• Own problems from unclear requirement to production.

• Build mainly backend software, while being comfortable enough in frontend to own a feature across the stack.
• Design tests around failure modes, coverage of retries, bad data and unavailable dependencies.
• Improve operability and developer experience with logs, metrics and traces; collaborate with Platform team on deployment and local development.
