Job summary

Vattenfall in Stockholm seeks a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to lead end-to-end software delivery in a modern cloud-based environment. You will design and implement customer-facing digital solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and promote best practices in agile development.

The role requires 6+ years of fullstack experience, strong C#/.NET, Angular, TypeScript, and Azure expertise, along with fluent English.

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of professional experience in fullstack software development.
• Good knowledge of Swedish.
• Experience working with customer-facing digital products.
• Experience mentoring developers and driving engineering excellence.
• Passion for emerging technologies and continuous learning.
• Strong experience with: Angular 19 or later, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, C#, .NET Framework, and .NET 8 or later.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native development.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Gitflow.
• Experience using development and security tools such as Visual Studio, GitHub, SAST, and DAST solutions.
• Familiarity with modern AI-supported development tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
• Experience working in agile software development environments.
• Ability to translate business and product requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, robust, and sustainable end-to-end solutions.
• Translate product and business objectives into high-quality technical solutions.
• Develop and continuously improve customer-facing applications.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, Product Owners, UX designers, and business stakeholders.
• Transform requirements into user stories and technical implementations.
• Build automated tests and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Promote agile development methods and software engineering best practices.
• Support knowledge sharing and technical mentoring within the team.
• Contribute to continuous delivery of high-quality features and improvements.
• Monitor application performance, reliability, and health throughout the application lifecycle.
