Job summary

European Tech Recruit is assisting a technology organisation in Malmö to hire an experienced Senior FPGA Developer for a long-term assignment. You will take genuine technical ownership and drive FPGA design across the full lifecycle.

You will work with an international engineering team, influence architecture decisions and deliver high-quality digital hardware solutions, reporting directly to the hardware lead.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with FPGA development across the full lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of digital design and hardware development.
• Experience designing and implementing technical solutions independently.
• Ability to manage projects from requirements through development to delivery.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, self-starting approach.
• Very good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement FPGA-based solutions.
• Take ownership of technical requirements through to final delivery.
• Contribute to FPGA architecture and key technical decisions.
• Develop and optimise digital hardware designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex FPGA and hardware-related issues.
• Work independently while collaborating with a wider international engineering team.
• Support testing, verification and continuous improvement of FPGA solutions.
