About the role

Are you an experienced financial accountant who thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same? Do you value precision and structure, while also being curious and collaborative?

As Senior Financial Accountant, you’ll play a central role in ensuring our financial reporting is accurate, reliable, and compliant. You’ll support both day-to-day operations and long-term financial planning, working closely with colleagues across departments and markets.

This role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and suited for someone who’s used to taking ownership. You’ll be part of an inclusive and supportive team that values knowledge-sharing, curiosity, and doing things just a little bit better each day.

Some of your key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Leading daily accounting and reconciliation for lending, deposits, and broker fees
  • Managing monthly closings, payroll accounting, tax returns, and VAT across markets
  • Supporting regulatory reporting and external audits
  • Monitoring and improving internal controls
  • Analyzing financial performance and spotting variances or risks
  • Ensuring all reporting and documentation meets local and group requirements
  • Collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders (payroll providers, tax authorities, auditors)
About you

  • 5–10 years of hands-on accounting experience – ideally from a financial, audit, or accounting firm
  • Deep knowledge of transaction-level accounting, tax treatment, and financial statement structures
  • Experience with payroll, tax, and month-end closing processes
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured, analytical mindset
  • Fluency in Swedish and English (both are essential)
  • A curious, proactive, and solution-focused personality

We are really in impressed if you also:

  • haveworked on internal controls or supported systems/process improvements!

If you’ve worked with complex transactions, regulatory reporting, or reconciliations, you might be a great fit, even if you haven’t worked in a bank.

We offer

You’ll be part of a finance team that is central to how we operate and grow – not just a support function. You’ll get to work across three Nordic markets in a listed company with high ambitions in a fast-moving,growth-focused company – with all the energy and challenge that it brings!
