Job summary

L&T Technology Services in Gothenburg, Sweden seeks a brake control test engineer with up to 5 years in automotive testing. You will understand and execute brake system test specs, work with UDS, CAN, and Ethernet, and develop tests for brake functions in HIL/vehicle setups. Proficiency with CANalyzer/CANoe, JIRA, and CARCOM is desirable.

A Swedish/EU driving license is preferred. Responsibilities include test case development, debugging traces, and contributing to vehicle network topology

Qualifications

• Up to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong brake and Brake SW testing experience.
• Proficient in CAN, FR and Ethernet protocols.
• Hands-on UDS protocol experience and vehicle network knowledge.
• Experience with CANalyzer/CANoe, JIRA and CARCOM tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand and execute CRS, SWRS, and test specs for brake control systems.
• Develop brake test cases using CAPL, Python and Perl in HIL/vehicle environments.
• Debug CAN/FR/Ethernet traces and produce RCA reports.
• Work with CAN, FR, Ethernet networks in vehicle architectures.
• Familiar with CAN frames in Chassis-CANH, FR Backbone and Propulsion-CANH.

Description:

• Up to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry with strong domain expertise of brake and Brake SW test experience.
• Capable to understand and execute CRS, SWRS, Test specifications of Brake control system.
• Hands on experience using Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS – ISO 14229) protocol.
• Experience in using CAN, FR, Ethernet communication protocols.
• Experience in using Vector CANalyzer or CANoe bus simulation, Team Center, JIRA and CARCOM tools.
• Experience in Issue debugging skills (CAN/FR/Ethernet Traces) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) report.
• Good understanding of CAN/FR frames connected in a vehicle network (Chassis-CANH, Backbone (FR), Propulsion-CANH)
• Expertise in understanding of vehicle platform architectures and network topologies in the brake control area will be an added advantage.
• Experience in developing test cases for the brake functions using CAPL, PYTHON and PERL scripting. Executed in HIL/vehicle test environments.
• Hans on experience on HIL rigs test development and execution.
• VT test studio tool experience connected to HIL rigs
• Knowledge on SW releases process and documentation

Note: Candidate must have Swedish/EU driving license and vehicle testing experience.
