L&T Technology Services is seeking a Senior Energy Management Engineer in Gothenburg, Sweden, focusing on climate control systems for automotive applications. You will develop, calibrate, verify climate control software and collaborate with global stakeholders to optimize thermal performance.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in a relevant field, 5+ years in automotive climate/thermal domains, and strong skills in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, and SW calibration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of automotive industry experience in climate & thermal.
• Solid understanding of Climate & thermal systems (HVAC, battery cooling, powertrain cooling etc.) and control theory (PID, state machines).
• Experience analyzing and resolving complex software issues related to functionality, performance, and integration.
• Model-Based Development (MBD): Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow for designing, simulating, and auto-generating control algorithms for HVAC, battery thermal management, etc.
• Embedded software development in C/C++.
• SW calibration (INCA, CANape), function validation, and bench road testing.
• Process knowledge and quality assurance in software development.
• Driver’s license (B) and experience in vehicle testing and subjective evaluation.
• Proficient communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

Description of the assignment

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Energy Management Engineer with a specialized focus on

climate control systems. In this role, you will be a key contributor within the Energy Management

team, responsible for development, integration, calibration, and verification of climate control software.

You will work with global stakeholders to ensure optimal climate and thermal system performance, energy efficiency, directly impacting our next-generation products.

Qualifications and skills required for the role
