Job summary

Markem-Imaje Sweden in Gothenburg seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join the Print & Apply platform. You will work in a small team within a global company, shaping product direction from concept to production and delivering robust software that interacts closely with hardware.

You will code primarily in C++ on Linux, explore Go interfaces, and collaborate across electronics, mechanics and software teams to test, review, and improve the codebase in an international context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with significant professional software development experience.
• Senior embedded development experience, mainly in C++.
• Experience with low level programming, sensors, and motor control.
• Ability to drive development forward in an international, small team context.
• Experience with Go programming and Linux ARM processors would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on coding in C++ on Linux for the controller software of Print & Apply products.
• Develop interfaces in Golang and motor control in C on FreeRTOS.
• Collaborate with electronics and mechanics teams to test and troubleshoot hardware.
• Take part in code reviews and contribute to improving the codebase quality.
