Job summary

Markem-Imaje in Gothenburg is seeking a Senior Embedded Developer to influence the architecture of our Print & Apply products. You will primarily code in C++ on Linux, work with a small international team, and explore interfaces in Go or motor control in C on FreeRTOS.

We value a Bachelor’s degree with substantial software experience; a Master’s is welcome but not required. Strong low‑level programming, sensors, and motor control skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is essential, along with significant professional experience developing software. A Masters degree would be highly desired but is not essential
• Senior experience in embedded development, mainly in C++.
• Solid experience with low-level programming, sensors, and motor control.
• Comfortable making technical decisions and driving development forward in collaboration with a small team in an international context.
• Basic understanding of physics, for example through relevant university education.

Responsibilities

• Influence key technical decisions for the development of Print & Apply products; code mainly in C++ on Linux.
• Possibility to develop interfaces in Go or motor control in C on FreeRTOS.
