Job summary

AXIS COMMUNICATIONS AKTIEBOLAG in Stockholm is seeking a Secure Boot Engineer to join the Common Core Platform team within Axis R&D. You will collaborate with ASIC design engineers to develop secure boot solutions for Axis video surveillance platforms built on ARTPEC, Linux-based platforms, and work on boot, security, and CPU subsystems.

The role requires at least 5 years in embedded systems, a Master’s degree, and strong skills in embedded C, secure development, ARM architectures, and QEMU.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of embedded C development experience close to hardware.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in secure development and testing practices.
• Familiarity with Git and Gerrit for version control and code review.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ASIC design engineers to develop secure and efficient boot solutions.
• Write and maintain robust, secure, reliable and high-quality code.
• Design, implement, and use test environments to validate your code.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions to ensure the quality and feasibility of solutions.
• Stay informed about industry advancements related to secure boot and incorporate relevant trends into your work.
