Job summary

RPS Softwares AB in Sweden seeks a Senior Embedded Linux Developer with 7+ years in embedded Linux, kernel work, device drivers, BSPs, and hardware bring-up. You will design, configure, and maintain embedded Linux for custom hardware using Yocto and C/C++ for real-time applications.

You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to troubleshoot integration issues, validate designs with silicon vendors, and contribute to open-source style practices within the Linux ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of embedded software development experience with Embedded Linux.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain embedded Linux systems, BSPs, bootloaders and kernel drivers using Yocto and C/C++.
• Perform hardware bring-up for prototype boards and collaborate with hardware engineers on integration.
• Adapt reference designs with silicon vendors and validate tests on custom hardware.
• Collaborate in cross-functional Agile teams and contribute to Linux ecosystem practices.
