Job summary

Sigma Group in Sweden is seeking an experienced Embedded Linux Engineer to work on a technically challenging platform with an international product team. You will focus on reliability, low-level Linux development in a platform that may operate without an MMU, and you will contribute across software, hardware and verification disciplines.

Key tasks include kernel upgrades, C-based embedded software development, and codebase analysis, with thorough documentation of changes and verification

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Linux kernel configuration, adaptation and build processes.
• Documented experience with Linux-based embedded systems without an MMU.
• Strong programming skills in C.
• Experience working close to embedded hardware.
• Experience analysing and maintaining existing or legacy codebases.
• Good knowledge of debugging and verification in embedded environments.
• The ability to understand complex systems and take ownership of technical tasks.
