Responsibilities

You will be part of a cross-functional team working with our Embedded Linux platform serving our product range. The team uses an agile, scrumish approach. The team handles requirements, implementation, testing and documentation of new functionalities as well as maintenance of existing code base. Responsabilities: The Linux platform is responsible for booting the system software and to launch the application programs on the three main sub systems, Breathing, Monitoring and Panel for our Servo family of ventilator products. It is also responsible for upgrades and patches of the software on our Linux based sub systems.

Main job tasks

• Work packages related to a Servo project.
• Focus on software development and testautomation by using Robot Framework
• Product adaptations and maintenance of the Linux Platform components including root file systems, Linux kernel, Hardware abstraction layer (HAL), tools, tool chains and SW installers for the Servo target HW.
• Bug fixing and problem solving
• Design and test documentation

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of experience as a software developer working in Linux development environment
• Solid knowledge of Embedded Linux systems, low level software (drivers, BSP), open source, Yocto and proven hands on experience. Strong experience of shell scripts, C, C++, bash and Python
• Strong understanding of software design, specifications and software requirements of software components
• Strong understanding and interest in software test automation
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware schematics and concepts
• Strong understanding about network connectivity, security solutions, encryption and firewalls
• Source control systems experience (Git, Gitlab or GitHub)

Basic Requirements

• Goal-oriented and cooperative team-player
• Minimum Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other relevant (IT connected) specializations

Precence at the office in Solna approxematly four of five days a week.
