SAAB in Huskvarna, Sweden is seeking a Software and Test Developer for Embedded Systems. This role involves designing and developing software for various platforms, focusing on safety-critical systems while ensuring compliance with DO-178 standards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills in C and Python, experience with embedded systems, and a relevant degree. You will work closely with hardware engineers and participate in Agile team activities. A plus is experience with safety-critical software development for aerospace or defense applications.
As an Software and Test Developer for Embedded Systems you will play a key role in designing and developing software for a variety of platforms and architectures, with a strong focus on safety‑critical systems. You will be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and well‑documented code that adheres to DO-178 standards, ensuring the highest levels of quality and compliance.
