Job summary

Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB in Sweden seeks a Senior Embedded Software Application Engineer for an IT consulting assignment in motor drive systems. You will develop embedded software for motor control, verify with HIL testing, translate requirements to software design, and own technical tasks within a skilled cross-functional team.

Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink or TargetLink, and fluent English are essential to collaborate across automotive projects.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of embedded software development experience.
Experience with HIL testing and motor control.
Fluency in English, written and spoken.
Ability to work independently and in cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop embedded software applications for motor drive systems.
Translate system requirements into software requirements and technical solutions.
Perform software design, implementation, documentation and functional verification.
Work with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and vehicle/truck-level verification.
Conduct fault tracing, debugging and bug fixing.
Integrate software deliveries and ensure quality and readiness before release.
Take ownership of technical tasks and actively contribute to engineering deliveries.
Collaborate with technical teams and support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Contribute to technical development roadmaps and engineering best practices.
