At Terranet AB, we are looking for a Senior Electronic engineer to join our team.

About the role
In your role as Senior Electronics Engineer at Terranet you will work on some of the toughest technical challenges in the automotive and mobility domain. You will be working on the entire spectrum of product development, starting from conceptualization, modeling, and simulation, to prototyping and laboratory testing, as well as product integration that meets automotive requirements. Thriving in this environment requires dedication and passion for finding creative solutions to technical challenges and an aptitude for teamwork.

Role and responsibilities

• You work with the whole chain of our product development with a big focus on electronic development. As part of this you will be involved and define the electronic design requirements, schematics and layout, to manufacturing through external suppliers
• You are going to be a core member of our product development team and boost the development of both hardware components and embedded software systems
• You will be building prototypes that cover the complete system, including the mounting of all PCBs and connectors, as well as the connection of all components for the entire system

About you

• Solid experience in PCB schematic design and layout using CAD tools (e.g. KiCAD).
• Proficiency in digital, analog, and power electronics design, as well as modelling, simulation, and testing
• A thorough understanding of the full journey from prototype to mass production, including industry standards, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements
• Basic knowledge of automotive hardware standards, embedded software, and interfaces such as ECUs, CAN, and Automotive Ethernet
• It is a plus if you also have hands-on skills in electronics assembly and mechanical prototyping
• Skills in electronics assembly and mechanical prototyping
• It’s a plus to have a basic understanding of automotive hardware standards, software, and interfaces, such as ECUs, CAN, Automotive Ethernet, ISO 26262, and other standards
• It’s a plus to have experience in Embedded firmware development
• You have a hands-on mentality and are action-oriented rather than process-oriented, you are practical rather than theoretical
