Overview

We are currently in an exciting phase with several large development projects, and we are seeking talented individuals to help shape the technology for Kongsberg Maritime world class products. In the role as Senior Electronics Development Engineer in our Hardware & FPGA department, you will be part of a vibrant and highly competent team that develops electronics and electro-mechanics for our Automation and Control product portfolio. You will follow products through the whole lifecycle, from idea to design, development, testing and maintenance. Innovate for a better world with us! What You Will Be Doing
  • Participate in concept studies and prototyping.
  • Lead specification, architecture and design.
  • Create schematics and simulations.
  • Perform testing and documentation.
  • Collaborate on integration of electronics in systems with FPGA, software and mechanics.
  • Maintain designs and products through the whole lifecycle.
We think you should have
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree within electronics, cybernetics or other relevant areas.
  • 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable:
  • Embedded design (e.g. Ethernet, PCIe, DDR 4/5)
  • Digital, Analog or Power Electronics
  • Functional Safety / Reliability
  • EMC
  • Simulation
  • Experience with PCB design is an advantage but not a requirement.
