Job summary

Techster Solutions is seeking an Electronics hardware responsible to join our Electronics & Software group in Sweden. You will take end-to-end hardware responsibility for ECUs, ensuring robust design from concept through production and lifecycle management.

Collaborating with software owners and architects, you will address EMC, electrical loads, and interfaces, securing reliable integration with ECU networks and supplier engagement. Volvo experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Several years of electronics hardware development experience in automotive.
• Experience taking automotive ECUs from development through production is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ECU communication, EMC, electrical loads and interfaces.
• Good understanding of hardware-software interaction and system integration.
• Experience with Volvo Cars/Volvo Group/Geely is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware design, requirements, and lifecycle for ECUs.
• Lead hardware development and industrialization from concept to series production.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards and internal processes.
• Identify and resolve hardware EMC, loads, interfaces, and pin issues.
• Collaborate with software and system architects to secure interfaces and topology.
• Act as technical lead and primary contact for suppliers and customers.
