Job summary

Techster Solutions AB is seeking an Electronics hardware responsible to join our Electronics & Software group in Gothenburg. You will take end-to-end hardware responsibility for ECUs, driving from concept to production and lifecycle management.

You will coordinate across customers, suppliers and internal teams, working with software owners, architects, and specialists in functional safety, cybersecurity and EMC to ensure a robust, integrated solution for next-generation powertrain control

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Several years of experience in electronics hardware development, preferably automotive.
• Experience taking automotive ECUs from development through production.
• Strong knowledge of ECU communication, EMC, electrical loads, interfaces, and circuit-board pin functionality.
• Good understanding of hardware–software interaction and ECU network topology.
• Experience from Volvo Cars, Volvo Group, Geely Group, or similar automotive organization is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own the hardware design, requirements, and lifecycle management of ECUs.
• Lead hardware development and industrialization from concept to supplier selection and series production.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards and development processes.
• Identify and resolve hardware challenges related to EMC, loads, interfaces, and PCB pin functionality.
• Collaborate with software engineers and system architects to secure interfaces and ECU network topology.
• Serve as the technical lead and main contact for suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
