  • Lead hardware development and industrialization from concept and supplier selection to validated series production.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable automotive standards, technical requirements, and development processes.
  • Identify and resolve hardware challenges related to EMC, electrical loads, interfaces, and circuit-board pin functionality.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and system architects to secure interfaces, integration, and ECU network topology.
  • Serve as the technical lead and main point of contact for suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Skill requirements
Your profile
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Several years of experience in electronics hardware development, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated experience taking automotive ECUs from development through industrialization and production.
  • Strong knowledge of ECU communication, EMC, electrical loads, interfaces, and circuit-board pin functionality.
  • Good understanding of hardware-software interaction, system integration, and ECU network topology.
  • Experience from Volvo Cars, Volvo Group, Geely Group, or a comparable automotive organization is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of technical solutions.
