Job summary

Stillfront is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead DevOps practices within our IT Hub. As a key player, you will reduce complexity and technical debt while collaborating with over 20 game studios. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps, strong knowledge in CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud services like AWS, GCP, and Azure. This role offers a flexible work schedule and unique opportunities to travel and collaborate with our international teams.

Job description

Stillfront’s IT Hub is a multi-disciplinary department, paving the road for the rest of the group by providing technological solutions and engineering guidance. Now, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (all genders) with experience working with a heavily distributed and senior engineering group to join our IT Hub to support DevOps and engineering projects across the group.

YOUR MISSION

• Lead the design and implementation of DevOps across IT Hub projects
• Lead by example best practices to team and game studios/franchises
• Contribute to player delight by reducing complexity and technical debt
• Identify and action opportunities to reduce cost
• Coordinate and collaborate with a talented network of engineers at each studio/franchise
• Be inquisitive about current DevOps strategies and eager to evaluate alternatives
• Using LLM/AI tooling to gain efficiency while improving quality

YOUR BACKSTORY

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps with high interest in gaming
• Comfortable being a first responder to infrastructure issues
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and with common development tools and practices, including Python environments
• Hands‑on experience building infrastructure from the ground up with Infrastructure‑as‑a‑Service tools like Terraform or Pulumi
• Experience architecting and managing applications at scale using Kubernetes
• Experience with Git, with bonus points for experience converting codebases from competing version control systems into Git
• Well‑acquainted with AWS, but also experienced with GCP, Azure, and on‑premise infrastructure
• Passion for monitoring and logging with tools like Grafana and Kibana
• Eye for security and data privacy both from a policy perspective and practical engineering tooling
• Fluent English, both verbal and written
