Job summary

SEB is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for the Digital Workplace Area to help develop and operate SEB's security capabilities, focusing on the Defender ecosystem and cloud security principles. The role emphasizes strengthening Threat Protection and Incident Response while ensuring long-term service ownership.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with the Microsoft Defender ecosystem, Microsoft Entra ID and Sentinel.
• Understanding of Cloud Security principles, including Azure Security with a secure-by-design mindset.
• Proven background in Platform Engineering, Security Architecture, Governance, and Zero Trust initiatives.
• Ability to bridge technology platforms, Security Operations (SOC) and business needs, translating requirements into scalable solutions for Threat Protection and Incident Response.
• A proactive approach to operational readiness and long-term service ownership within the Cyber Security area.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills and experience coaching of junior colleagues

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of SEB's security capabilities within the Digital Workplace Area.
• Operate, design, develop and deliver security capabilities to enable operational security teams and stakeholders to protect the organisation.
• Bridge platforms, SOC and cloud platforms such as Azure; collaborate on Threat Protection and Incident Response.
• Support Security Architecture, Zero Trust and long-term service ownership across the organization.
