Job summary

Zendr is hiring its first dedicated data engineer to own the data platform end-to-end. You’ll design and implement the AWS infrastructure, data pipelines, and analytics layer, collaborating directly with the CTO and platform lead.

Expect ownership of the data stack, from ingestion to business metrics, with low-friction governance and a pragmatic toolset. Join a fourteen-person engineering team and help shape the data platform as Zendr scales.

Qualifications

• Senior engineer with production systems experience focusing on data
• Built data platforms in small teams where you owned infra
• Comfortable with AWS account ownership: IaC, networking, cost

Responsibilities

• Design and build the data platform on AWS, including the infrastructure itself
• Build pipelines moving data from operational MongoDB and legacy MySQL to a governed analytic store
• Provide trustworthy, self-serve metrics to the business and executives
• Enable data for AI workflows with governance
• Own data quality, monitoring and cost
