Job summary

Zendr is rebuilding its platform and is hiring its first dedicated data engineer to own everything data end to end, including the AWS infrastructure, ingestion from operational databases, transformations, and the analytics layer used by the business. You will work directly with the CTO and Platform Lead, shaping architecture decisions as the company grows, and you may lead a data team in the future.

Qualifications

• Senior data-focused engineer with production experience
• Experience designing data platforms on AWS and owning infrastructure as code
• Comfortable building end-to-end data pipelines and governance

Responsibilities

• Design and build the data platform on AWS, including the infrastructure
• Build pipelines moving data from operational MongoDB and legacy MySQL into a governed analytical store
• Provide trustworthy, consistent metrics, starting with the executive team and expanding to self-service
• Make data available to AI workflows with governance
• Own data quality, monitoring and cost
