Job summary

ALLPS is recruiting a Senior Data Engineer for a major Swedish client in Stockholm to modernise a cloud data platform built on Data Mesh principles. You will build modular batch and real-time pipelines on GCP, migrate data products, and ensure data quality and traceability across transactional and master data.

Assignments are mostly onsite or hybrid at the client's central Stockholm office or Visby, with some fully remote work possible.

Qualifications

• Experience with ETL/ELT and data-warehouse modelling in regulated environments is a plus.
• Proficiency in BigQuery, SQL and Python for data engineering tasks.
• Hands-on with Airflow, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh and data products end-to-end.
• Experience migrating complex data flows to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Build modular batch and real-time pipelines on GCP.
• Migrate data products off a legacy data feed.
• Model data and ensure data quality and traceability.
• Optimise cost and performance of data pipelines.
• Support AI/ML use cases.
