Job summary

Cyberway AB is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Skåne. You will design and implement scalable data pipelines, models, and semantic layers for complex data sets, working closely with customers and colleagues in an agile environment.

The role requires 5+ years of data engineering, strong SQL and Python skills, and a drive to optimize data platforms using Azure or Google Cloud technologies. You will influence data architecture and data quality across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, dimensional modeling, star schemas, partitioning, and clustering.
• Hands-on experience with either Azure or GCP data platforms and tools.
• Strong programming skills in SQL and Python.
• Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines and semantic modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and semantic modeling.
• Collaborate with customers and colleagues in agile teams.
• Contribute to data warehousing and modern data platform architectures.
• Optimize high-volume data processing and cost/performance.
• Communicate effectively in English and/or Swedish.
