Job summary

FDJ UNITED is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build innovative data solutions in a fast-paced agile team. You will modernize the data platform, enabling reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision making across the organization.

You will transform cloud data landscapes, work with lakehouse architectures, and leverage automation and generative AI to boost self-service capabilities and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with scalable modern data architectures.
• Experience building data lake / lakehouse architectures in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS S3/Redshift or Azure data services.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data ingestion.
• Proven expertise using transformation tools such as dbt.
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
• Experience with CI/CD and testing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data solutions including transformation, modelling, and reporting in on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Build modern data lake / lakehouse architectures to support scalable processing.
• Enhance platform integration using domain events for real‑time data processing.
• Champion generative AI features to deliver intuitive analytics experiences.
• Deliver insights with a focus on performance, scalability, and data accessibility.
• Automate ETL/ELT, implement CI/CD pipelines, and optimize data flows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and document requirements as GAPs.
• Support data governance, data quality, and compliance across the organization.
• Maintain data products with release management and on‑call support.
