Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will work in VAS area for a global automotivecompany in Gothenburg.

Contract

Start is in October 2025, 1 year's contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.

Must-have qualifications

• Min. 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Solely implemented data engineering pipelines for data processing and transformation
• Set up Azure DevOps projects end-to-end, including configurations, pipelines, releases, deployments, hotfixes
• Active hands-on experience with Databricks environment
• Strong coding skills: SQL, Python, PySpark, scripting
• Working experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks Workflows, Clusters
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and JSON ingestion
• 3 years of BI project experience with solid data modeling background and business understanding
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Working experience with Git and DevOps

Personal Skills

• Able to understand business stakeholders and translate their needs into technical solutions
• Active collaborator, transparent and engaging team member
• Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel
• Strong team player with good communication skills

Nice to have skills

• Be able to upskill the team with hand-on sessions.
