TRATON Group R&D in Södertälje, Sweden, seeks a Senior Data Architect to guide data architecture for E/E engineering data, analytics and AI-enabled use cases. You will shape data models, integration patterns and reusable data capabilities, collaborating with data engineers, analysts and product and governance teams across R&D.

The role blends hands-on technical work with architecture leadership, influencing choices and trade-offs while delivering reliable reporting, KPIs and scalable data

Formación

• Experience in data engineering, analytics or modern data platforms with architectural or technical leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, semantic layers and integration patterns.
• Experience with cloud-based data environments such as AWS, Snowflake or similar platforms.
• Experience working with data from multiple systems or in software development or engineering environments.

Responsabilidades

• Shape and evolve the architecture for E/E engineering data, balancing current reporting and analytics needs with opportunities to develop reusable data capabilities.
• Design and review data models, shared definitions and integration patterns for relevant engineering data sources.
• Guide data engineering practices for data quality, lineage, traceability and ownership, in collaboration with the relevant system and platform owners.
• Work with analysts and stakeholders to ensure the data architecture supports reliable reporting, KPIs, performance insights and other agreed engineering needs.
• Identify opportunities to make data products and pipelines reusable, including for AI-enabled use cases, and collaborate with AI Enablement where relevant.
• Provide architectural guidance to data engineers and analysts, and contribute hands‑on through design reviews, prototypes or technical problem‑solving.
