This is a senior, site-based position for an experienced construction professional who understands the importance of programme, safety, quality and effective coordination.
If you take pride in ownership, clear communication and delivering well-managed projects, this is an excellent opportunity to join a leading international engineering and construction organisation.
The Role
As the Senior CSA Project Manager, you will represent the Project Manager and wider business on site, taking responsibility for the planning, coordination, delivery and close-out of the CSA scope from pre-mobilisation through to commissioning and demobilisation.
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring strong commercial awareness, technical understanding and the ability to keep a complex project moving safely, efficiently and to programme.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Start-Up
You will:

- Lead the early-stage site establishment and mobilisation planning.
- Become fully familiar with project change control and validation procedures.
- Implement the site safety starter pack and contribute to the wider HSEQ plan.
- Review construction drawings, method statements and risk assessments before works commence.
- Establish installation standards and quality procedures from the outset.
Project Delivery
You will:
- Take overall responsibility for CSA delivery and productivity.
- Develop daily action plans covering HSEQ, productivity and team performance.
- Produce and maintain short-term programmes aligned with the master schedule.
- Review and report against the master programme, providing regular updates to the Project Manager.
- Lead and manage CSA subcontractors, ensuring labour, supervision and workfaces are effectively coordinated.
- Chair subcontractor meetings and maintain accurate site records.
- Identify, manage and track variations in conjunction with the Project Manager and QS.
- Coordinate and expedite critical equipment and material deliveries to protect the programme.
People & Coordination
You will:
- Lead CSA teams and subcontractors across multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate closely with client representatives, consultants and other project stakeholders.
- Work alongside M&E leadership to manage cross-discipline interfaces.
- Coordinate internal and external supervision teams across multiple trades.
- Take ownership of site issues and drive practical solutions through to completion.
- Provide clear leadership and direction across the CSA scope.
Safety & Quality
You will:
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the project.
- Ensure inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings are delivered consistently.
- Conduct regular site walkarounds and proactively address unsafe practices.
- Ensure compliance with approved method statements, permits and project HSEQ requirements.
- Drive compliance with inspection and test plans and quality procedures.
- Ensure early identification and resolution of snags.
- Maintain a zero-snag approach through to handover.
Close-Out
You will:
- Ensure all safety and life-safety systems are tested, certified and complete.
- Ensure accurate final marked-up drawings and project documentation are delivered.
- Support the demobilisation of labour, plant, materials and site facilities.
- Ensure all statutory notices, schematics and close-out documentation are completed in line with project requirements.
About You
You will typically have:

- Proven experience operating at Senior Project Manager, CSA Project Manager, CSA Lead or Construction Manager level.
- Strong experience leading large site teams and managing multiple subcontractors.
- A strong understanding of construction programmes, sequencing, quality and HSEQ.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence working with clients, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.
- The ability to take ownership, make informed decisions and maintain momentum across a complex project.
