Spinverse is seeking a Senior Consultant in Gothenburg to combine energy technology knowledge with client advisory, business development and public funding expertise. You will shape fundable project concepts, bring partners together and prepare competitive funding applications across Nordic and European programs.

You will engage with existing and new customers, build consortia, and guide proposals from idea to grant award while advancing energy transition initiatives.

Do you want to help companies turn ambitious ideas into well-structured, funded innovation projects?

As a Senior Consultant at Spinverse, you combine your understanding of energy technology with client advisory, business development and public funding expertise. You help customers shape project concepts, bring the right partners together and prepare competitive funding applications that move the energy transition forward. You will work with both existing and new customers, and in this role you will:

• Discuss ideas with customers and assess whether they can become fundable, investment-ready projects.
• Advise on suitable European and national funding opportunities and shape winning project concepts.
• Build project consortia and lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Support proposal writing from early idea to submitted application and grant award.
• Guide customers from strategy roadmap, R&D and demonstration projects towards commercialisation and investment readiness.
• Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and building long-term customer relationships in the Nordic and European level energy market.

Who we are looking for

We hope you will bring with you:

• Around 10+ years of experience in the energy sector, industrial transformation or technology-driven industries, preferably including consulting experience.
• A proven track record in project concept development, consortium building and funding applications, from first idea to grant award, in EU and national programmes such as Horizon Europe, the Innovation Fund, Industriklivet, Klimatklivet, Business Finland or Vinnova.
• Thorough understanding of energy systems, renewable energy, electrification, hydrogen / Power-to-X and industrial decarbonisation, together with good knowledge of European and Nordic funding programmes, energy policy and innovation ecosystems.
• Strong business development, strategic advisory, sales and customer relationship management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English with Swedish language skills considered an advantage.
• A collaborative and commercially minded approach: you build relationships easily, take initiative and work in a strategic, pragmatic and result-oriented way.
