Job summary

H&MV Engineering is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the project commercial team and drive strategies ensuring profitable growth and strong project performance. You will report to the Regional Commercial Director and manage commercial aspects across contracts, pricing, and payments.

You will collaborate with project, finance, and operations teams, build client relationships, and steer commercial risk assessments while supporting large renewable, data centre, and utility projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years in engineering, construction, or infrastructure with at least 3 years in Commercial Management.
• Strong understanding of commercial, financial, and contractual principles incl. NEC, JCT, FIDIC.
• Professional membership with RICS, SCSI or equivalent preferable, but not mandatory.
• Ability to manage commercial performance of large-scale or complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional commercial team and provide timely commercial support to stakeholders.
• Oversee contracts, pricing, tender submissions, negotiations, and administration.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, costs and margins to meet targets.
• Develop commercial strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.
