Job summary

Keyfactor is seeking a Cloud Engineer to manage and improve cloud infrastructure. You will own low-to-moderate complexity solutions, contribute to reliability, security, and operational efficiency, and participate in incident response and remediation within guardrails.

The role emphasizes IaC, configuration management, PKI knowledge, and Azure-based operations. You will work with a global team and support hosted product readiness while maintaining security controls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 2 to 5 years of related work experience in cloud operations.
• Hands-on Azure experience with native services and tooling.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management experience.
• PowerShell scripting proficiency (medium to high).
• Strong Windows systems administration including Active Directory.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Works independently with IaC toolsets to deploy and enhance cloud infrastructure.
• Writes new or updates existing infrastructure code of low to moderate complexity.
• Seeks review for higher-risk changes and participates in peer code reviews.
• Builds and maintains configuration code to support reliable services.
• Implements configuration changes within established patterns.
• Maintains inventory and records for data center operations.
• Develops automation using scripting, REST APIs, runbooks, and pipelines.
• Applies cloud networking concepts to maintain security posture.
• Works with Azure Monitor to enhance monitoring and alerting.
• Coordinates and executes patch management activities.
• Applies PKI concepts in hosted environments and reviews PKI work.
• Works with Keyfactor’s hosted products and performs troubleshooting.
