Job summary

Keyfactor is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design and evolve complex cloud infrastructure with autonomy. The role focuses on reliability, security, and scalability, and includes mentoring peers and leading cross-functional initiatives.

The position can be based in Stockholm with a hybrid work model and requires valid right to work in Sweden. The candidate will drive IaC, configuration management, and PKI tasks while collaborating across product and customer environments to ensure secure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience and strong knowledge within their functional area.
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including native services and tooling.
• Deep hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting (high complexity).
• Extensive Windows systems administration experience, including Windows Server Roles & Features and Active Directory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage complex work and projects with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Owns and evolves Infrastructure as Code solutions across the cloud environment.
• Delivers design improvements that enhance scalability, reliability, and team efficiency.
• Provides technical guidance and review for less senior engineers.
• Designs and maintains complex configuration management solutions.
• Reviews and guides configuration work performed by other engineers.
• Maintains an accurate inventory of data center hardware and records activities.
• Performs PKI tasks for hosted environments and supports security posture.
• Designs and builds advanced automation using scripting and Azure-native services.
• Defines and improves monitoring, alerting, and observability strategies.
• Leads patch management strategies and drives process improvements.
