Job summary

PostNord is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design, build and operate a modern Azure and Databricks-based data platform that enables analytics, AI, and data-driven decision making at scale.

You will implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, maintain CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud networking and security, and partner with Data Architects, Data Engineers, Enterprise Architects, and Security teams to ensure reliability, governance, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in Platform/Cloud/Infrastructure/SRE roles.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating secure, scalable Azure infrastructure.
• Experience supporting modern data platforms, analytics, AI, and ML workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the Azure/Databricks-based data platform for analytics, AI, and data products.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop observability frameworks and ensure platform health, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, Enterprise Architects, and Security teams to evolve cloud platform standards.
• Support disaster recovery planning and enable ML/AI capabilities through robust platform engineering.
