Job summary

PostNord Sverige seeks a Data Platform Engineer to design, build and run a modern Azure- and Databricks-based data platform that supports analytics, AI, and data products at scale.

You will optimize Azure Databricks, Data Lake, networking, and platform services, implement Terraform IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and observability to drive reliability and cost efficiency. The role emphasizes security, governance, and cross-functional collaboration with Data Architects and Security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in Platform/Cloud Engineering, SRE, or similar roles.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating secure, scalable Azure infrastructure.
• Experience supporting modern data platforms, analytics, AI, and machine learning workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure for analytics, reporting, AI, and data product development.
• Manage and optimize Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, networking, and platform services.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform; build CI/CD pipelines; create observability frameworks.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, improve operational excellence, support disaster recovery, enable AI/ML capabilities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Business teams to drive platform reliability and governance.
