Job summary

Techster Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join the Client Reporting team in Sweden. You will work on data flows and reports, shaping the design and development of a modern cloud-based data ecosystem on GCP, enabling data-driven decisions and powering next-generation applications.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in software development and data engineering.
• Hands-on mindset with years of proven deliveries in GCP or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Python, BigQuery, SQL.
• Experience building scalable data solutions using tools such as BigQuery, Dataform, Airflow, Pub/Sub, Docker.
• Understanding of modern data architectures (Data Warehouse, event-driven).
• Experience with ETL processes and data modelling (e.g. dimensional modelling, Data Vault).
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, GitLab, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive and be part of the technical roadmap for data and integration solutions.
• Work hands‑on with technical design, development and implementation, as well as maintaining existing applications in the area.
• Build and modernize data pipelines, APIs, and data products.
• Bridge legacy systems with a modern cloud-native architecture in GCP.
• Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with technical standards, patterns, and target architecture.
